Who Am I
I grew up in the backwoods of North Idaho—the land of mountains, lakes and streams. I remember as a kid being so enchanted by nature. The freedom, the sounds and the solitude, and the stories my mind created when I hide among the trees, and the rest of the world. It was a fantastic time being a kid. I have many fond memories of the adventures my friends and I would find ourselves in exploring the forests around our home. It truly inspired something in me.
Upon graduating high school, I attended the University of Washington in Seattle and became a liberal arts castaway after earning a degree in English. I landed a job in publishing after some time. I eventually wound up in technical publishing division of one of the legal publishing companies. It’s here I became fascinated with technology. It was the era of the “dot com” and a taught myself how to program and build websites. I remained in Seattle until the dot com bust of the late 90s when we all lost our jobs. It was at that time that my wife and I decided to make a move back to Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.
Where Am I
I split my time between Las Vegas and Idaho, where you can find me on the highways and back roads searching for my next big adventure.
What Am I Up to
I’ve worked in the technology and power sports field for many years, building and running websites, developing content, running marketing campaigns and overseeing operations for online businesses. I currently work helping clients with their own websites and their digital marketing. In my free time, I manage the National Rider Supply blog.
Things I Like
I enjoy all things motorcycle related—even a lot of the minutia. I mean, how many tire review articles can you read without getting bored. But I do…read those articles.
I’m a lover of live music, enjoy riding my bike on sunny days, and have a great bunch of friends that keep me laughing.
